The Vintage: The 2022 growing season was beautiful, warm and sunny with a very small crop, allowing for excellent concentration and a perfect balance between flavour development and acidity.
Winemaking: A blend of 50% Riesling, 38% Pinot Grigio and 12% Chardonnay. Harvested at an average of 19.8° brix. The grape varieties were hand-picked and fermented separately at cool temperatures in small stainless steel tanks. The wine was aged on lees in stainless steel for 6 months prior to blending and bottling.
Description: Named after the founder’s mother, Betty, for her love of aromatic white wines with a hint of sweetness. Fresh green apple, lime citrus and pear flavours are balanced by floral aromatics and subtle spice. Beautifully textured with a pleasing balance of natural sweetness and crisp acidity.
