The nose showcases bright strawberry and blackcurrant, with mulberry, raspberry, tobacco leaf, cocoa nib, and oregano poking out in the background. The palate is classically medium-bodied with more blackcurrant and ripe strawberry layered over tomato-leaf, cinnamon, dark chocolate, coffee and a wonderful crushed-stone character with a very long finish. This Cabernet Franc can definitely age for 8-10 years, or decant and enjoy now! Pairs well with anything from cured meat and hard cheeses to BBQ.
