Made a deeelicious batch of apricot jam with Elizabeth Baird on Tuesday.  She inspired me to try mixing apricots with my favourite early golden plums!  Yum!  I have a pot ready to go tomorrow.

Had a GREAT lunch together at The Kitchen House,  Ross and Wendy Midgley’s new restaurant at  Peninsula Estates winery.  We both had the sweet corn and saffron risotto.  The Pingue chorizo was a nice surprise!  LOVED it!  Great new menu.

Our wine bottles and caps have arrived for the Good Earth winery.  Bottling of the chardonnay to come soon!  Getting excited.

Tomorrow morning the cement trucks arrive.  I’m certain my felines Basil, Nigel and Squirt will leave their mark — quite literally!!  Look for the pawprints when you visit.
