Winemaking Notes: Harvested on October 8th, 2021. The grapes underwent a 5-day cold soak prior to fermentation. During the three-week fermentation, punch downs were performed twice daily by hand. The wine aged in neutral barrels for 11 months before being lightly filtered and bottled.
Tasting Notes: A vibrant nose of strawberry, blackberry, raspberry and lilac leads to white pepper and cardamom spice. Medium-bodied with soft tannins and flavours of bing cherry, strawberry, nutmeg and white pepper, followed by subtle tobacco, basil and cocoa on the finish. Approachable yet serious, ideal for many occasions.
